Water, electricity tariffs up

The Public Utility and Regulatory Commission (PURC) has announced new tariffs for the last quarter of the year which would take effect from December 01.  The new tariff for electricity is up by 3% across board and 1. 07% for water. The lifeline category which is between 0-50, remains free of these new tariffs but consumers between 51-150 category would now pay 17. 5%. The same figure of 17. 5% holds...
