The new branch to be situated at Ahodwo, according to the management of the company, indicates the leading role Melcom plays in the provision of basic needs of not only Ghanaians, but the world over.

It also contributes to the government’s resolve to reduce drastically the teeming unemployment situation in the country.

In an interview with Today, the regional head of Melcom, Davies George, said the company had progressed steadily and excelled in its 19 years of operating in the country due to the commitment and hard work of management and staff of the company.

He said the new branch which cost the company about a million dollars would have over four thousand items and employ 80 Ghanaians to man the branch.
