It attracted hundreds of people from the municipality and beyond.
The audience danced their hearts out throughout the entire programme.
Before Evangelist Diana Asamoah mounted the stage other local gospel artistes including Elvis Afranie, Ama Grace and Mama Akos had treated the crowd with some lovely gospel tunes to prepare the grounds for Evangelist Diana Asamoah.
When Evangelist Diana Asamoah was finally introduced, spontaneous shouts and applause greeted her.
The venue was parked to capacity with many people standing throughout to observe the event.
Diana Asamoah began the programme with worship songs which set the stage for an electrifying night.
Diana’s new album is a combination of twenty-three (23) tracks.
Some of the songs on the album are Edin No, Adua Ba, Momome, Mmronoma, Nyame Agya and Elija Atadee among others.
The tracks were recorded by George Forest, K D and Danny Bassy; it was produced by Frimprince Music Production.
It featured Martinson Larbi and Nana Ama as backing vocalists with Shaa on the keyboard.
Mr Anane Frimpong, the Executive Producer of the album, in an interview with Today, called on Ghanaians to purchase the album because it is made up of soul inspiring songs.
He also disclosed that he would be bringing out new artistes.
Evangelist Diana Asamoah started evangelism in the mid 90’s preaching in buses from Kumasi to Accra.
In 1999, she met Rev Simon Yaw Boama who found something in her ministry and decided to assist her in the composition of songs.
They two came up with their maiden album Wona Mani Agyina in 2000 which performed marvelously well in the music industry: it was this song which opened doors and made Mr Anane Frimpong of Frimprince Music Production to produce most of her albums.
In 2002, she came out with Mabo Wodin which was dedicated to former President John Agyekum Kufuor.
This album won many awards both locally and internationally.
She later came out with Akoko Abon in 2004 which was followed by Madanse Die in 2006.
In 2008, she launched a mega hit album dubbed Pentecost Gya.
Apart from music, she also works with Light Fm, a Kumasi-based radio station, as a radio pastor.
Kyei Adoma Samuel, aka Nana Kas of Space Fm, was the Coordinator for the program, with Pastor Twum of Space Fm as the Master of Ceremonies (MC).
