Chelsea have won both the League and FA Cup Double, making this season one of the greatest in the clubs 105 year history. Speaking about the Chelsea’s plans next year, John Terry said that the plan is to retain the titles won already and add more.

“It is hard to set new targets but the minimum next year now is the Premier League and the FA Cup. If we can add the Champions League to that and the Carling Cup, it would be great.
But the minimum is the Premier League and the FA Cup. Everyone is saying that, including the manager. These are our trophies and we want to keep them. And the Champions League next year is here [at Wembley] – that would be a great way to end it.” Terry said.
Many news stories this morning surrounding Chelsea’s great news also raise the issue of the poor quality of the turf at Wembley stadium. The pitch is being re-laid at Wembley for the 12th time, following another bout of undue usage from non football related events and shows.
Many spectators and football players themselves have commented that Wembley bosses need to decide what the main use of the stadium is before any further England games are affected.
