Akufo-Addo tours Ashanti

Nana Akufo-Addo, who is campaigning for the August 7 nomination as the 2012 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, last Sunday, May 16 2010, began his tour of the Ashanti Region.

This follows a successful conclusion of his campaign tour of the Brong Ahafo Region, which began on Tuesday, May 11, at Tano South and ended on May 15, with his final campaign stops being the Sene, Pru and Atebubu Amanten constituencies.

The tour of the Brong Ahafo region, just as other regions he has earlier visited, was marked by mass endorsements and excitement from the rank and file of the party.

Almost all the Members of Parliament in the region and their constituents were unanimous in their endorsement of Akufo-Addo as the man to lead the NPP in the 2012 general election.
