According to him, the new executive committees are made up of 8 different committees and 4 directors.
The committees, he said, include the legal committee, complaint and conflict resolution committee, co-opted NEC member’s committee, finance committee, economic committee, social services committee and communication committee.
He disclosed that the 4 directors include Mr James K. Asante, the Director of Communications, Mr Abaka Quansah, Director of Research, Mr Kofi Attor Director of International Relation and P.K. Abbonie, Director of Elections.
He cautioned the various committees that the party will not hesitate to take away any committee which does not leave up to expectation.
Dr Kwabena Adjei, the National Chairman of the party, emphasized that the past committees the party formed did not live up to expectation due to certain reasons, but was confident that the committees this time will work to move the party forward.
He said measures have been put in place to ensure that the committees and 4 directors work hard to achieve their purpose.
The former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, stressed that the committees represent the readiness of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to face their political opponent, NPP, in the 2012 elections.
She added that, the committees have also been set up to help the government carry out its mission successfully.
